Carlos Sayadian

Carlos Sayadyan painter, born in Yerevan in 1948, Carlos Sayadyan was nominated as the first prize winner at an exhibition dedicated to the 40th anniversary of Soviet Armenia in 1961. In 1964, he studied at the P. Terlemezyan Yerevan State College of Fine Arts. Later (1968–75), he studied at the Yerevan Fine Arts and Theatre State Institute. In 1979, he became a member of the USSR Artists’ Union. He has participated in a number of personal and collective exhibitions worldwide. Many of his paintings can be found in personal collections and in public institutions, such as the Museum of Modern Art in Yerevan, Armenia; the Russian Ministry of Culture–Exhibition Board in Moscow, Russia; the Art Academy of Bucharest, Romania; and the St. Lazarus Island Museum in Venice, Italy.
