Derderian talked about the high quality of Gago’s artworks, and the way through which his sculptures relay their inspirational messages to art lovers. She said she wished the figures depicted in Gago’s sculptures always remained confident and proud. She wished the artist continued success, adding that he will surely continue enriching Armenian culture and achieving international recognition.
She added that the Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Society has always supported Armenian artists throughout its 85 years of history within the Armenian Diaspora. The productive work of the Lucy Tutunjian Art Gallery is one of the most remarkable evidences in this regard. She thanked the Art Gallery’s management and staff for offering their family the opportunity to sponsor this exhibition, as well as for supporting the work of established artists and for discovering new talents. She also wished Gago continued success.
The event ended with a speech by Gago, who thanked everybody and expressed his hope that art lovers would spend a memorable time while visiting the exhibition of his sculptures.
The exhibition runs until 26 August 2013, Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
