Under the patronage of BLC Bank director Maurice Sehnaoui, on Thursday 15 June 2017, the Hamazkayin Art Gallery launched an exhibition by well-known Lebanese Armenian artist Mireille Goguikian titled «Au-delà du rêve» (Beyond the Dream).

The exhibition features 13 mixed media and 58 oil paintings on canvas. They are featured on both floors of the Art Gallery.

Goguikian was born in Beirut. In 1988, she graduated from ALBA with a Master’s degree in Fine Arts. She has played an active role in numerous foundations. Goguikian is a member of the Hamazkayin family and teaches in Hamazkayin Toros Roslin Art Academy.She has participated in around 50 exhibitions worldwide, among them 15 solo exhibitions. Goguikian has received multiple awards for her works.

After speeches by the Art Gallery representative and the artist, Hamazkayin Art Gallery director Mr. Hagop Havatian awarded a shield of appreciation to MR. Sehnaoui to express deep gratitude for his support of this exhibition and for playing an important role in encouraging art in Lebanon.

 

The Exhibition remains open until June 30. The art gallery is open every day except Sundays from 9:30 AM till 6:30 PM.
