Gagik GHAZANCHYAN & Lilit SOGHOMONYAN exhibition “Two Perspectives”

The Hamazkayin Lucy Tutunjian Art Gallery has organized an exhibition of the works of two representatives of contemporary art from Armenia, Gagik GHAZANCHYAN and Lilit SOGHOMONYAN. The opening of the exhibition, which is titled “Two Perspectives,” was held on 17 October 2012, at 7:00 p.m., under the patronage of Lebanon’s Industry Minister H.E. Mr. Vrej Sabounjian.

The opening was attended by Archbishop Kegham Katcherian, Prelate of the Armenian Diocese in Lebanon; H.E. Mr. Ashod Kocharian, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia in Lebanon; Mr. Antranik Meserlian, Mayor of Bourj Hammoud; and representatives of various organizations, as well as Armenian and non-Armenian artists and art lovers.

The welcome speech was given by Ms. Carla Tutunjian, member of the Hamazkayin Lucy Tutunjian Art Gallery’s committee, who presented the bios of the two artists.

Next, Mr. Hagop Havatian, director of the Hamazkayin Lucy Tutunjian Art Gallery, spoke about the works of the artists and their relationship with Hamazkayin. Havatian stressed that this event will undeniably have a positive contribution to the strengthening of Armenia–Lebanon ties within the realm of painting.

At the end of the event, the two artists thanked the organizers and visitors of the exhibition.

The exhibition runs until 10 November 2012, from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Գագիկ Ղազանճեանի Եւ Լիլիթ Սողոմոնեանի Ցուցահանդէսի Բացման Հանդիսութիւն
