On Thursday May 18th, the Hamazkayin Lucy Tutunjian art gallery launched an exhibition by renowned artist Krikor Agopian. The exhibition which features 55 acrylic and 8 mixed media artwork will remain open until June 3, 2017.
This exhibition is the result of years of creation. Each piece of artwork represents a story with all of its details also expressing the feelings and emotions of the artist. These artwork are about rationality and they don’t have a decorative purpose. The artist believes that those with general knowledge will understand his work easily. Agopian paints in his mind and then when he looked at the blank canvas he already sees the reflection of the images. Agopian always presents new work through which he delivers a new message to his audience.
The artist acknowledges the importance of the support and encouragement of the people for him. He believes that this helps him succeed and progress.
As the attendees enjoyed the artwork in the gallery, musicians Gacia Levonian and Garo Svakjian played a collection of classical and Armenian music on their flutes.
