Beirut Art Fair

The international Beirut Art Fair, which was held under the patronage of the Lebanese Deputy Minister of Culture, opened on September 19, 2013, in BIEL, Beirut. The event brought together around 50 art galleries and the works of a large number of artists from Lebanon, Europe, Asia, and the United States.

For the second year in a row, the Hamazkayin Lucy Tutunjian Art Gallery took part in the fair. At its booth, it presented the paintings and sculptures of two artists from Armenia, Gagik GHAZANCHYAN and GAGO, as well as of two Lebanese-Armenian artists, Mireille GOGUIKIAN and Missak TERZIAN.

The Hamazkayin Art Gallery’s booth was visited by a large number of government officials, politicians, artists, as well as Armenian and non-Armenian art lovers — all of whom praised the quality of works on display and wished the Hamazkayin Art Gallery continued success. The visitors included representatives of the Ministers of Culture and Information, foreign diplomats, high-ranking Lebanese government officials, and editors of newspapers.

Such initiatives give the opportunity to present the works of Armenian artists to non-Armenian audiences. Thus, the Hamazkayin Art Gallery’s director and Committee have decided to regularly participate in such international events.

The Beirut Art Fair continued until September 22, 2013.

Համազգայինի “Լիւսի Թիւթիւնճեան” Ցուցասրահը Մասնակցեցաւ “Պէյրութ Արթ Ֆեր” Միջազգային Ցուցահանդէսին

Հինգշաբթի, 19 սեպտեմբեր 2013-ին, «Պիել»-ի մէջ բացումը կատարուեցաւ «Պէյրութ Արթ ֆեր» միջազգային ցուցահանդէսին, որ կը վայելէ Լիբանանի մշակոյթի նախարարի պաշտօնակատարի հովանաւորութիւնը: Ցուցահանդէսը կը համախմբէր Լիբանանէն, Եւրոպայէն, Ասիայէն եւ Միացեալ Նահանգներէն մօտաւորապէս 50 ցուցասրահներ եւ մեծ թիւով արուեստագէտներու գործեր: Այս առիթով, Համազգայինի «Լիւսի Թիւթիւնճեան» ցուցասրահը ներկայացուց հայրենի արուեստագէտներ Գագիկ Ղազանչեանի եւ Կակոյի, ինչպէս նաեւ լիբանանահայ արուեստագէտներ Միսաք Թերզեանի եւ Միրէյ Կոկիկեանի գործերը:
