Under the sponsorship of Prelate of the Armenian Diocese in Lebanon Archbishop Nareg Alyemezian, Hamazkayin’s Lucy Tutunjian Art Gallery organized the album signing and the solo exhibition of Krikor Agopian, which took place on May 9, 2019. 98 acrylic and mixed technique paintings that were part of Agopian’s personal collection were displayed in the exhibition.

Director of ‘’Lucy Tutunjian’’ Art Gallery Hagop Havatian welcomed the guests and considered this event a memorable occasion, as it is the exhibition of over 50 years of Agopian’s creative work. “Fifty years of full dedication, fidelity, sincerity towards his work, and ups and downs in his life, and today he comes forward with his gigantic work, which is the result of his huge number of exhibitions, with the will to be constantly renewed and the determination to look ahead,” stated Havatian.

Krikor Agopian delivered a speech in English, in which he expressed his gratitude to Archbishop Nareg for sponsoring the exhibition, to Nishan and Srpouhi Babigian for sponsoring the publication of his album, and to the staff of Hamazkayin ‘’Lucy Tutunjian’’ Art Gallery for the collaboration.
