A COLLECTIVE EXHIBITION OF YOUNG ARTISTS ON THE OCCASION OF LUCY TUTUNJIAN ART GALLERY’S 10TH ANNIVERSARY

Under the sponsorship of Mr. George Semaan, head of Bsalim-Mzher-Majzoub municipality, and organized by Hamazkayin Lucy Tutunjian Art Gallery, the opening of the collective exhibition of young artists took place on September 5, 2019, at 7:00 PM.

The Arabic radio host of Voice of Van, Hala Haddad, said that a 10-year-old dream-building has already become a meeting place for the art lovers. “This center will remain revived, as it were, to convey a message to all those who look forward to the future,” she said. She also noted that to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the art gallery, the collective exhibition of young artists will be opened, to enable them to soar in the artistic aspiration.

Afterwards, Lucy Tutunjian Art Gallery Director Hagop Havatian delivered a speech in which he mentioned that through this youth and special initiative, the 10th anniversary events are given green light. Mr. George Semaan in his turn expressed happiness at being part of this event, highly praising the activity of the art gallery. 

The young artists who participated to the exhibition were Arin Chekijian, Aram Papazian, Christ Iskenderian, Christina Kabakian, Hrant Kalemkerian, Moushegh Karavartanian, Norayr Boudakian, Nathalie Khachadourian, Nora Diban and Sylvia Seraydarian.

The exhibition remained open until Saturday, September 21.
