Guvder’s exhibition attracts wide attention

The works of renowned Lebanese-Armenian artist Guvder have been on display at the Hamazkayin Lucy Tutunjian Art Gallery since November 12, 2009, when the gallery was officially launched.

In the last few days, numerous Lebanese artists, art instructors, students, as well as Armenian and non-Armenian art lovers visited the exhibition.

Among the visitors were also student groups from Lebanese-Armenian schools and the Hamazkayin “Toros Roslin” Art Academy. During the school visits, Guvder explained in detail his art and his 65-year-long work journey.



Most of the displayed works have already been sold, gaining praise by everybody.

Today, a new collection of Guvder’s creations will be put on display, allowing everyone to revel in the depth of his art and obtain some of his works.

Due to the positive feedback by the public, the exhibition organizers have decided to extend the exhibition until December 3, 2009.

Guvder’s exhibition has also attracted the attention of local media, and well-known Lebanese art critics have referred to the exhibition and Guvder’s creations with special columns, commending the talents and merits of the celebrated artist.
