A large numbers of art lovers attended the launch of the exhibition of around 40 paintings by well-known Lebanese-Armenian artist Razmig Bertizian, held at the Hamazkayin Lucy Tutunjian Art Gallery, on June 10, 2010, at 6:30 p.m.
Titled “Imagination Inside Me,” the exhibition is being held under the patronage of Archbishop Kegham Khatcherian, the Prelate of the Armenian Diocese in Lebanon, and the presidency of Mr. and Mrs. Hagop Tchilinguirian.
Therefore, this exhibition is first and foremost a modest expression of gratitude to Bertizian, Havatian emphasized.
On this occasion, Havatian thanked Mr. and Mrs. Hagop Tchilinguirian for supporting the event, saying that they have always promoted similar high-quality initiatives in the Lebanese-Armenian community.
Havatian also thanked Archbishop Khatcherian, who supports and contributes to the success of cultural activities in the community, through his presence and encouragement.
Then, Havatian invited Archbishop Khatcherian to deliver his speech.
Next, Archbishop Khatcherian said Bertizian is one of the young artists of the Lebanese-Armenian community who deserves our support, along with other artists in the community and the country. He added that every person is responsible for providing such support to artists, so that they can in turn feel satisfied when serving the community through their talent.
The exhibition is divided into two parts: one is titled “Mythology” and the second “Paradoxical Circus.” All of the works are oil paintings.
The exhibition will remain open till June 26, 2010, daily from 10:00 a.m. till 8:00 p.m.
