Haghtanak Shahumyan

Born in 1944, Yerevan, Armenia. In 1962-1967 studied in the Yerevan State Institute of Fine Arts
& Theater, department of painting. At 1965-1967 worked by chief painter of Armenian’s
Cinema Rolling Studio.
From 1968 took part in various exhibitions, both republican and pan-USSR.
Simultaneously to creative activity, he was the chief painter of Yerevan city, at the municipality
of Yerevan from 1976 to 1989.
His 32 personal exhibitions took place in Armenia, USA, Poland, Norway, Switzerland, Austria,
Australia, France, Spain etc..
His works are situated in state & private collections in Armenia and foreign countries
From 1975 is a member of artists` union of Armenia.
